Dr Tom Crake is currently a Consultant Cardiologist at The Heart Hospital, University College Hospitals and North Middlesex University Hospital.

He trained in cardiology with particular interest in interventional cardiology at the National Heart Hospital, The Cardiothoracic Institute and Hammersmith Hospital. Dr Crake is currently the lead for interventional cardiology at the Heart Hospital. He maintains a longstanding interest in training and education and is the training programme director for cardiology in the North East and North Central sectors of London. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.

Dr Crake is involved in all aspects of adult cardiology including acute coronary syndrome, angina, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease and arrhythmias. He has a particular interest in angioplasty and stent implantation. He has an active interest in research and has published and continues to publish widely of various aspects of heart disease.
